2. Website access and hosting
When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system information, referrer) to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting provider: netcup GmbH, Emmy-Noether-Straße 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany. More information: provider privacy notice.
3. Contacting us
If you write to us by email or via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, company, role, email, optional phone, your message) to answer your request and, where applicable, prepare an offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or (f) (legitimate interest in replying).
We keep requests for as long as needed to handle them and delete them at the latest three years after the communication ends, unless statutory retention duties apply.
4. Booking an appointment (Microsoft Bookings)
You book the free discovery call on a booking page that we run with Microsoft Bookings (Microsoft 365). The link opens a Microsoft page in a new tab; only there is data transferred to Microsoft. Our website loads nothing from it.
When you book, we process your name, your email address, the chosen time and the optional details you enter there (for example phone number, company, notes). We use them to confirm the appointment, add it to the calendars of Stefan Hofmayr and Alexander Krauck, send a Teams link and prepare the call. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or (f) (legitimate interest in efficient scheduling).
The service provider is Microsoft (in the EEA: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited); Microsoft’s privacy statement applies in addition. We keep bookings for as long as needed to hold and follow up on the call and delete them at the latest three years after the communication ends, unless statutory retention duties apply.
5. External links
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub or other sites are plain links. No data is transferred until you click them; the respective provider’s privacy policy then applies.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Contact stefan.hofmayr@progress.works. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
