About us in brief

Boilerplate

progress.works (Hofmayr & Krauck) is an AI advisory practice based in Linz, Austria, serving executive and operational leadership in industrial and mid-sized companies. Stefan Hofmayr (management, processes, operational excellence) and Alexander Krauck (AI architecture, data, delivery) combine business case and technical delivery in one team: from the leadership workshop through prioritised, measurable initiatives to operation. The contracting entity is Progressworks GmbH.

Short bios & photos

Stefan Hofmayr

Stefan Hofmayr, MBA, CPA, CMC, is a management consultant, Managing Director of Progressworks GmbH and Regional Manager South at Conor Troy Consulting. He combines around 20 years of industrial and management experience, including as commercial managing director of Lenzing Technik, with operational excellence and AI-enabled process innovation. He lectures at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and speaks at ARS Akademie.

Alexander Krauck

Alexander Krauck, MSc, is an AI architect, consultant and founder of Goedly. He built and led the Competence Center AI at Fabasoft, researched graph neural networks at Johannes Kepler University Linz and holds a bachelor’s and master’s in Artificial Intelligence with distinction. He builds production-grade LLM, RAG and agent systems with a focus on integration, evaluation and operation.
